End date for SPG June, 30 2018?

Hej Lucky,

I have just generated my spg plat thank you certificates for next year and found their expiration date to be set to June, 30 2018 while in previous years and up to now they have alwas been valid for a whole year. Do you have any official information that this is the final end date of the programme?

I still wish for them to see in their data that most spg loyalists have no interest in staying at Marriott anyways and keep programmes apart but this seems like an indicator that it will eventually come to an end…
